Basic Storyboarding and Copywriting for Video Production on Social Media
About This Course
This course will close these performance gaps by equipping the learners with the following skills and knowledge to
- develop creative vision of the production with objectives, outcomes, logistical and technical requirement of the production
- conceptualize creative ways to illustrate frames from the angle of a camera with the preferences of the target audience
- develop effective framing for each shot with consideration of camera equipment, camera movements, angles, and specific lighting required for each shot, key character poses and expressions, and frame composition and sequencing approaches.
- develop mood boards to depict visual looks and styles for different scenes with techniques for depicting visual styles
- work with art team to further enhance the storyboard panels using concept art
- refine storyboards to achieve the desired flow and impact from the scenes through creative ways with fundamental technical parameters for visuals, including color, resolution, and aspect ratios and relevant storyboard, graphics, and editing software
- review storyboards and provide detailed notes on frames for future revisions or feedback
- present storyboards to relevant stakeholders.

Entry Requirements
Aged 21 and above
Have basic computer literacy Level 2
Have minimum GCE “N”, “O” or “A” Level / NITEC or a diploma qualification and minimum 2 years of working experience;
Have an English language proficiency equivalent of higher of any of the following - GCSE N/O Levels pass in English / WPLN Level 5 / IELTS 5.5 / TOEFL (internet based total) 46-59.
