About This Course
This course aims to provide an overview of how a healthy nutritious diet through consumption of food products incorporating appropriate Chinese herbs could boost the body's immune system in response to seasonal changes in weather.
What You'll Learn
Through this course, professionals in food related industries such as food technologist, R&D chefs and meal planners will be able to gain knowledge and skills to enable them to leverage on the benefits of Chinese herbs when developing innovative food products promoting a healthy, nutritious and wholesome diet for consumers. Participants will be introduced to appropriate preparatory and cooking methods for incorporating Chinese herbs into food products to ensure optimal effectiveness for promoting healthy body functions to adapt to seasonal weather changes. A review and discussion of current innovation and trends in this aspect that contributes to the retailing of more wholesome food for consumers will also be covered in this course. Retailers in the food and TCM-related sectors will also be able to utilize insights gained through this course to provide useful information to consumers when marketing their products. This is in line with the key objectives and trusts outlined thru related ITMs of the sector (ref corresponding info in Column W of this submission)
