This course aims to provide participants with an overview of how a healthy nutritious diet with food products incorporating Chinese herbs could provide calm and relief to the human body, thereby coping with fast-paced and hectic lifestyles of individuals.
What You'll Learn
Through this course, professionals in food related industries such as food technologist, R&D chefs and meal planners will be able to gain knowledge and skills to enable them to leverage on the benefits of Chinese herbs when developing innovative food products promoting a healthy, nutritious and wholesome diet for consumers. The course will teach participants the appropriate preparatory and cooking methods for incorporating Chinese herbs into food products to ensure optimal effectiveness for promoting healthy body functions for calm and relief. A review and discussion of current innovation and trends in this aspect that contributes to the retailing of more wholesome food for consumers will also be covered in this course. Retailers in the food and TCM-related sectors will also be able to utilize insights gained through this course to provide useful information to consumers when marketing their products. This is in line with the key objectives and trusts outlined thru related ITMs of the sector (ref corresponding info in Column W of this submission)
