About This Course
• Analyse behaviour exhibited by children with special needs

What You'll Learn
This course starts with the exploration behaviour theories and functions to convey understanding why children with special needs express different behaviours. This is followed by an analysis of behaviours to ascertain the needs of children with special needs. The use of a range of reactive and proactive strategies are examined for their application to different scenarios in responding, communicating and interacting with children with special needs.
Entry Requirements
• basic understanding of the different types of disabilities
• basic understanding of the characteristics of the different types of disabilities
• A minimum of GCE ‘N’ Level with credits including English Language as a first language; or
• Be able to listen, speak, read and write English at a proficiency level equivalent to the Employability Skills Workforce Skills Qualifications (ES WSQ) Workplace Literacy (WPL) Level 5
