About This Course
Workplace coaching is important to set employees up for success in the workplace by providing the tools that workers can use to increase their knowledge and improve their skills. Through effective employee coaching, employers can cultivate their workers’ willingness to do the job, leading to higher job satisfaction and productivity. At the same time, the coach will help to promote learning, foster retention, support high-potential employees, align organisational values, and achieve long-term business strategies.
At the end of the course, learners will be able to:
1. Empower team members to set goals based on their capabilities
2. Synthesize team members' personal goals and professional development with organisation goals
3. Conduct coaching and mentoring
4. Integrate workplace coaching with personalised professional development to enhance performance
What You'll Learn
This program is targeted at supervisory and management staff of organisation who supervise or manage teams to develop the skills to be able to coach and mentor others in the workplace. This series provides them with the knowledge and ability to develop meaningful coaching conversations with individuals or teams.
Entry Requirements
It is assumed that the participant’s should minimally possessed the following profile:
• Possess minimum of Diploma or equivalent level of education; or
• Be able to speak, listen and read English at a proficiency level not lower than the Employability Skills Workforce Skills Qualification (ES WSQ) Workplace Literacy (WPL) Level 5; and
• Have more than 1 years or more of work experience; and
• Have at least 1 years’ experience in a supervisory or managerial role
