What You'll Learn

The need to optimise the cost and time of invested resources to maximize their usefulness is on the rise in the architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) industry. The use of an innovative problem-solving approach using defined computational algorithms to make decisions at the design, construction, and facility management stage of building and infrastructure delivery, to enhance value delivery, is gaining attention in the AEC industry. Dynamo software provides a platform to develop computational algorithms relevant to the AEC industry. Industry professionals with skills and knowledge in the computational building information modelling (BIM) through Dynamo for Revit are highly sought after because of the benefits they bring to organisations and the industry.

This 2-day course aims to introduce and expose participants to computational BIM through Dynamo for Revit. Hands-on lab sessions are designed to convey the basics of Dynamo and algorithm design, at the same time, allow participants to bring back custom applications built during these sessions that will be useful in their current companies.
