Innovating Through Design Thinking: Facilitation and Design Leadership (Classroom & Synchronous)
About This Course
This programme aims to equip Design thinking / UX professionals with essential soft skills such as understanding business context, positioning design thinking, influencing people to drive positive change in their organisations. The course consists of hands-on practice of facilitation skills and lectures on change management theory, storytelling and design leadership. At the end of the programme, participants will be equipped with new lens to tackle the business challenge while advocating human-centricity; and develop the individual action plans to become a powerful change agent in their organisation.
What You'll Learn
Sharpen your design thinking capability.
Sharpen human-centered design methods in practice such as journey mapping, interviewing, prototyping and leading brainstorming sessions.
Day 2
Build facilitation skills.
Assess DT facilitation skills and learn how to mobilise people in the organisation towards human-centricity.
Practice facilitating design research, synthesising insights and structured ideation.
Day 3
Drive change through DT in the organisation.
Learn how to influence people through storytelling and develop your story blueprint
Learn change management theory and how design can be used as a powerful vehicle to drive change.
Day 4
Project assessment/ individual coaching.
Entry Requirements
• Participants who have successfully completed both Part 1 and 2 of the course ""Innovating through Design Thinking"".
• Design thinking / UX practitioners who has at least 5 years experience in running design thinking practice in their organisations.
