What You'll Learn
When it comes to complex systems, static visualisations can fall short in illustrating inner workings. This is where animations come in. Through motion, employees and clients can gain a better understanding of how a product, such as a robotic arm, operates. In addition to animating a product's motion, animations can be used to show a step-by-step sequence that reveals both external and internal components of the product.
Traditional animation workflows can be time-consuming due to rendering processes. Fortunately, with Unity's real-time rendering capabilities, turnaround times for creating animations are significantly reduced. Additionally, Unity offers a comprehensive suite of tools for lighting, audio, and special effects, making it easy to create promotional videos to market products. In this module, participants will learn how to leverage Unity's powerful animation features to create engaging and informative visualisations for complex systems.
