Autodesk Certified Professional (ACP) for Revit Mechanical Design
About This Course
Autodesk Certified Professional (ACP) for Revit Mechanical Design prepares participants to execute advanced mechanical design tasks in Revit. Learners will develop skills to model complex mechanical systems, including ducts, piping, air terminals, and fire protection systems. You’ll also learn to configure settings, modify components, and track system performance using the System Browser.
The course covers essential topics such as documentation, system analysis, and collaboration. Participants will create detailed design specifications, work with view templates, produce schedules, and ensure compliance with industry standards. You will also master family creation, energy modeling, and interference checking to ensure accuracy and efficiency in large-scale mechanical design projects.
What You'll Learn
- Execute engineering calculations, models, and simulations for systems, and create conceptual designs and BoD in Revit for Mechanical Design.
- Develop detailed design specifications for engineering systems in Revit and specify plans, schematics, layouts, and material requisition per project requirements.
- Supervise large-scale, technical drawing creation in Revit using 2D or 3D methods and review BIM model for accuracy.
- Review Revit mechanical design drawings for compliance with regulations, guidelines, conventions, and project requirements.
- Evaluate Revit mechanical design drawing adherence to regulations and guidelines, and develop efficient equipment drawing methods considering complexity, cost, and time.
