About This Course

The study of cultures and their economies are important in security studies. The focus of economic security and culture is to examine the ways in which economic security underpins different cultures in modern states. The course evaluates traditional and modern cultures and the bases of their economic security in such countries as Thailand, Indonesia, the Philippines, Vietnam, Taiwan, Myanmar, Australia and New Zealand.
