About This Course

This course introduces learners working in early childhood settings to identify common signs and patterns of stress, apply appropriate stress management coping techniques and build mental resilience. Armed with the understanding of the physiology and awareness of stress and stressors including reframing negative experiences, educators will learn to apply the Teacher Coping Model (TCM) and BounceBack Framework for Resilience to better handle stress and improve their resilience.

What You'll Learn

Learners will be able to:
1. Identify signs, symptoms, and indicators of stress
2. Examine different coping strategies
3. Establish coping strategies that work for them
4. Apply The Teacher Coping Model and BounceBack Framework for Resilience
5. Reframe negative experiences (negative cycle to positive cycle)

Entry Requirements

1. Be ECDA-certified as EY1/ EY2/ L1/ L2
2. Currently employed in a childcare registered or licensed with ECDA
