Clinical Support for Patient Service Associates (Classroom and Asynchronous)
About This Course
1. Communicate effectively using appropriate medical terminologies related to the basic human anatomy and physiology; and communicate with patients on the procedural requirements.
2. Prepare patients for measurement and documentation of vital signs, follow by reporting any of abnormal vital signs according to the organisation procedures and guidelines.
3. Select the appropriate specimen containers and equipment for various clinical laboratory tests and assist in preparing, checking, collecting or despatching of specimens in accordance to organizational procedural guidelines
4. Apply healthcare ethics when assisting patients for physical examination/ minor procedures and reinstate equipment post procedures in accordance to organizational policy.
