About This Course
a. Identify the basics of supply chain management and key processes.
b. Explain the various supply chain models, Metrics/Key Performance Indicators calculations by processes and basic optimisation methods of supply chain management in e-commerce industry.
c. Explain importance of Sales and Operations Planning and its impact to performance.
d. Understand the importance of product master data (PMD) governance in the ecommerce arena.
e. Define how product data/information is used in ecommerce in the entire value chain.
f. Analyse exceptions and suggest improvement to supply chain processes aligned to the e-commerce ecosystem.
What You'll Learn
This module aims to equip course participants with the basic current and relevant knowledge and skills of supply chain management professionals within the e-commerce ecosystem to help them upgrade and advance in their career.
During the course, learners will be exposed to the actual workplace scenarios of behind-the-scenes of how e-commerce takes its form by managing the processes that makes the whole value chain seamless.
Furthermore, the learners will gain experience from buyer, seller and e-commerce provider perspective when things failed through case studies. Upon completion of the module, learners will be able to pinpoint the processes involved, interpret performance metrices and service standards. Learners will be able to suggest feasible options and resolutions to negate or minimise negative impact.

Able to read, speak and write English.
Participants should have at least 2 years of working experience.
