Fans, Blowers and Vacuum Systems
About This Course
The 5-day course will cover the theoretical aspects of fan and blower operation, and a site visit will provide participants with hands-on experience with different types of fans and blowers.
The course is intended for energy managers, engineers, technicians, and other professionals who are responsible for the operation and maintenance of fan, blower, and vacuum systems.
After attending this Energy Efficiency Upskilling Programme, participants are expected to be able to
• review the energy efficiency performance of the fan, blower and vacuum systems across the facility under his/her charge
• benchmark energy intensity and carbon footprint of their gas transport systems
• identify process improvement opportunities, including energy efficiency, process efficiency and process reliability
• apply appropriate system performance metrics and maintenance strategies to sustain fan, blower, and vacuum transport systems at optimal operating parameters.
• minimize wastes and identify energy saving opportunities of major energy consuming systems:
- Fan systems
- Blower systems
- Vacuum systems
What You'll Learn
With gas transport systems prevalent across most manufacturing and processing facilities there are significant energy and emission reduction opportunities through better system design, tuning and operation.
This comprehensive, deep-dive Energy Efficiency Upskilling Programme is delivered by expert instructors to further enhance the knowledge and skills of energy managers and plant facility engineers, to enable them to identify energy saving opportunities within their plants.
Entry Requirements
