About This Course

In this era of Industry 4.0 with pervasive application of internet of things, data is coming in various forms. This course introduces basics of data pre-processing to prepare the information collected from various sensors and data sources in the format which we can use for data analysis and data mining for knowledge discovery. Through this course, the participants will understand the importance of data pre-processing, looking into actual applications of data. Participants will gain knowledge on synchronization of data and handling data complexity. Through application of basic python programming and excel skills, participants will work on normalization and data transformation of both categorical and timeseries data. With hands on experience for feature engineering and feature selection with machine learning and artificial intelligence algorithms, participants will be able to prepare the data for further analysis and data mining for various practical applications.
