Data and Digital Analytics
About This Course
By the end of the course, learners will have a solid understanding of the key concepts, tools, and techniques used in data analytics and able to apply them to real-world problems. This course addresses the performance gaps for the following:
- Identify underlying patterns and trends in data analytics to convey insights effectively using statistical computing tools and methods
- Use simple mathematics to develop predictive analytic spreadsheet models
- Explain how cluster analysis is used to explore and reduce data
- Create interactive visualisations with exploratory visual analysis and predictive modelling techniques
- Test hypotheses and validate problem-solving strategies by adopting statistical and experimental techniques
- Interpret and evaluate patterns in data to understand their relevance in business issues
- Demonstrate proof of concept for these algorithms through effective prototype development
- Apply machine learning methods to gain valuable insights from data to develop new business insights
- Use complex software tools find data to determine impact of insights on organization
- Identify, prioritise and solve problems within the organisational domains by analysing key business processes
What You'll Learn
Entry Requirements
Learners are expected to:
Have completed GCE “N” Level or in the absence, be able to comprehend , read, write and speak English and with Numeracy at WSQ Workplace Literacy (WPLN) Level 5
No prior technical qualifications or experience is required but learners are expected to have:
Basic computer literacy
Basic Internet Usage skills
Min 1 year experience in the proposed job roles or 1 year relevant working experience in the related industries.
Learners who do not qualify in terms of education, literacy and/or numeracy but have at least 1 year of working experience in any industry will be admitted on a case-by-case basis, subject to approval by Bells Management Representative (MR).
