About This Course
Equip healthcare professionals with skills for:
1. Organising/planning a clinical education program
2. Managing challenges in supervising advanced clinical skills
3. Supervising staff working in interprofessional setting

Learners will apply these skills in the following areas:
1. Designing a clinical education programme for students/new hires/juniors
2. Supervising staff in advanced clinical skills (e.g. VFSS, tracheostomy management)
3. Managing interdisciplinary teams
4. Mentoring of staff
What You'll Learn
This two-day course will focus on advanced topics in clinical
supervision for experienced clinicians with supervisory and
management responsibilities. Participants will develop skills for planning advanced clinical education programmes (e.g. Videofluoroscopic study of swallowing (VFS) training, Intensive Care Unit (ICU) management), providing clinical supervision in interprofessional settings, and managing challenges related to the training of advanced clinical skills.
Models of supervision will be applied to further focus on providing mentorship to junior colleagues and planning the professional development of staff.
Training will be conducted in the form of seminars, small group and individual activities.

Entry Requirements
3-5 years of supervisory experience.
This experience should be with junior / mid tier therapists.
