About This Course

The aim of DBP(SM) is to equip working professionals from various sectors interested to work in sustainability-related job roles or deepening their knowledge in sustainability management, ESG reporting, sustainable finance and sustainable communications and engagement to support the growing demand in the green job functions.

What You'll Learn

The subject takes the form of a major project which allows students to apply the skills learned in the previous MCs. Students will integrate sustainability concepts and considerations into real-world projects, from planning and design to implementation and evaluation. Through case studies, industry visits and industry guest speakers’ series, students will gain hands-on experience and develop skills and knowledge needed to create sustainable outcomes and positive impacts on the organisations, the environment and society.

Entry Requirements

• Minimum of 3 ‘O’ Level passes and 1 year of relevant working experience, OR
• NITEC with GPA ≥ 3.5 OR GPA ≥ 3.0 and 1 year of relevant working experience, OR
• Higher NITEC ≥ 2.0 OR GPA ≥ 1.5 and 1 year of relevant working experience, OR
• NITEC in Services/Technology with GPA ≥ 3.5 and 1 year of relevant working experience OR
• Higher NITEC in Services/Technology ≥ 2.0 and 1 year of relevant working experience, OR
• Relevant WSQ qualification with 1 year of relevant work experience and WSQ Workplace Literacy and Numeracy SOA (Level 6) OR
• Without relevant academic qualifications with at least 2 years of relevant working experience.
