About This Course
Trainees will be equipped with the fundamental knowledge, skills and attitudes to apply and implement good early childhood practices. They will gain better understanding of how children learn and grow and become effective Educator Aide in a childcare centre.
What You'll Learn
1. Gain understanding and knowledge in how children learn and develop; 2. Develop skills in assisting teachers to implement quality learning for young children; 3. Demonstrate awareness of their responsibilities and obligations in relating to children, families and colleagues (AECES Code of Ethics); 4. Gain awareness and understanding of own emotions and manage it to provide respectful and responsive care-giving; 5. Demonstrate ability to communicate and relate effectively at the workplace; 6. Acquire basic skills to work collaboratively in a team.
