This course will enable participants to:
• Identify options for data storage, common data workloads and roles • Learn the relational data concepts and relational database services on Azure
• Acquire hands-on practice in relational Azure database services
• Describe capabilities and storage for unstructured data on cloud
• Acquire hands-on practice in non-relational Azure Cosmo DB
What You'll Learn
This course teaches learners the fundamentals of data concepts such as relational, non-relational, analytics and big data in a cloud environment. The Azure Data Fundamentals course is designed for anyone interested in foundational-level knowledge of cloud data. Participants will gain an understanding of Azure core data concepts and services, be able to describe relational data and non-relational data concepts in a cloud environment and how to identify options for data storage and workloads. This course provides practical, hands-on experience, allowing learners to develop essential skills through guided lab practices in the Azure portal. At the end of this course, participants will be prepared to pursue the Microsoft DP900 certification independently should they choose to do so.
