About This Course
This course aims to equip participants with essential knowledge and skills in understanding the purpose and benefits in Lean Manufacturing in a manufacturing environment and Takt Time methodologies will be introduced in this course. Participants will also be able to practise Takt Time with an interactive scenario in the actual factory production floor.
What You'll Learn
Lean Manufacturing is an important framework for process improvement and Lean tools are used to enable the organisation to optimise resources to create value. Takt Time is then employed to identify and quantify the bottlenecks in the process which subsequently leads to improving cycle and lead-times to meet the Takt Time.
Entry Requirements
Nitec qualifications. Semi-intermediatory mathematical calculation skills. Basic English Proficiency. Basic computer skills.
