The course aims to equip learners with lean project management principles with a view to them applying the lessons learned to eliminate wastes and to raise quality and productivity levels in their organizations and projects
The objectives are: (a) Understand Lean Project Management principles, (b) Apply Lean Project Management principles to eliminate wastes, and (c) Transform the construction industry through higher quality and productive processes.

This course introduces participants to project management processes and knowledge areas covering integration, scope, cost, time, quality, HR, risk, communications and procurement.
Having learned the fundamentals of project management, the course next highlights the causes for project success and failure. The course presents successful companies implementing lean management principles in the course of their projects through the Toyota Way model.
At the end of the course, participants will gain an understanding of project management fundamentals as well as how successful project outcomes may be achieved using lean management principles.
