About This Course
At the end of the course, learners will be able to:
• LO1. Explain the key tenets of Singapore’s regulatory framework for financial reporting to all organisation types
• LO2. Apply understanding of the Financial Reporting Standards (FRS) in setting up and operationalising a cloud-based accounting system for their organisation
• LO3. Apply understanding of the FRS to correctly and accurately input and record all transactions made by their organisation
• LO4. Generate and review various reports to check for any significant accounting issues and ensure compliance to regulatory requirements
• LO5. Utilise various avenues to keep up-to-date with changes in prevailing accounting standards

Entry Requirements
• At least a Higher NITEC certification or equivalent, or at least 2 years of bookkeeping-related work experience
• Able to speak, listen, write, and read English with Numeracy skills at a minimum proficiency level of the Employability Skills Workforce Skills Qualification i.e., Workplace Literacy and Numeracy (WPLN) Level 5
• Be proficient users of either a Windows or Apple Laptop
• No prior work experience is required
*Learners who do not qualify in terms of education but have at least one year of relevant working experience will be admitted on a case-by-case basis, subject to approval by the Management Representative (MR).
