Apply Workplace Safety and Health In Shipyard (General Trade)
About This Course
This course is a mandatory WSH training course for workers in general trade operating in the shipbuilding and ship repairing work environment.
The aim of the course is to provide learners with the knowledge and skills to recognize the safety hazards at shipyard work, know the preventive measures to be adopted, and the importance of observing safety signs and safe work procedures operating in the shipbuilding and ship repairing work environment.

Entry Requirements
Learners are assumed to:
• Have a basic knowledge of the relevant sector of work
• Be able to listen and speak English at a proficiency level equivalent to the Employability Skills (ES) level 3
• Be able to read and write English at a proficiency level equivalent to ES level 3
• Be able to manipulate numbers at a proficiency level equivalent to ES level 3; and
• Be medically fit to work at height
