About This Course

As Singapore edges towards our status as a super-aged society, the healthcare industry would need to grow manpower exponentially, and at the same time, experiment new operating models to leverage ancillary workers. Amid the competition with other industries for talent, the programme intends to draw aspiring healthcare workers (such as mid-career entrants) by familiarizing them with the Healthcare landscape to increasing their preparedness and resilience levels as they transit into a new undertaking. This will increase a ready pool of workers for the healthcare sector.

This course provides an overview of project management and its key concepts, with a specific focus on addressing the unique challenges and opportunities associated with managing projects in a healthcare setting.

This course is part of the 10-day workshop series of (SCTP) Certificate in Healthcare Administration.

What You'll Learn

This course will provide both theoretical and practical insights on Project Management with the objective of providing a solid foundation for students to be knowledgeable on the subject, and become effective project team members and potentially project managers within the healthcare sector.

Individuals must meet all the requirements below in order to be eligible to apply for the programme:

• Singapore Citizen, Singapore Permanent Resident or LTVP+ holder
• At least 21 years old
• Self-sponsored learners (either unemployed or in-employment individuals)
