About This Course
In the second part of the Executive Certificate in Digitalisation and Capability Rebuilding for Food Services programme, participants will learn to develop ability to make strategic choices that are available to the Food and Beverage (F&B) industries. After going through the overseas learning and immersion, participants will be able to draw inspiration of capability enhancements that they are keen to pursue. This programme will then provide tools and methodology to help F&B owners to make informed choices on whether these initiatives will be strategically sound and financially viable to implement. Participants will be able to understand decision making metrics, including articulating investment returns and resource utilisation.
What You'll Learn
• Understand the concept of investment returns and how to strategise and do basic investment returns analysis
• Learn how to do basic computations to understand the benefits of resource pooling such as central kitchen deployments
• Learn different growth strategies, including different franchising and internationalisation options
• Develop understanding of investments in information technology, data analytics, Point of Sale (POS) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems and how these backend system can contribute to strategic advantage and financial returns
• Understand how to use data analytics tools to understand and improve store profitability
Entry Requirements
Participants should have more than two years of Food and Beverage (F&B) or food related experience to benefit from the programme.
