About This Course
The Microsoft Power Platform Functional Consultant course provides a comprehensive journey into the capabilities and applications of the Microsoft Power Platform. Participants will begin with an exploration of Dataverse, learning to create and manage environments, tables, and columns, and how to integrate data into Power Apps canvas apps. The course will cover managing permissions and administration in Dataverse and delve into the creation of both canvas and model-driven applications in Power Apps, offering a hands-on approach to customizing apps to meet specific business needs.
Moving onto Business Process Flow and Power Automate, learners will discover how to automate business processes, integrate functions across programs with API-level integration, and utilize Power Automate buttons for streamlined operations. This module focuses on optimizing business processes with AI Builder and process advisor, enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of business workflows.
The course further explores securing and governing Microsoft Power Platform environments, using analytics reports with Power BI to make data-driven decisions, and creating relationships, business rules, calculations, and rollups in Dataverse. Participants will learn to execute tests in Power Virtual Agent and Power BI, verifying their functioning across platforms, and implement modifications with Power AI Builder to address technical issues.
In the AI Builder section, attendees will learn how to bring AI to their business, manage models, use text generation, improve business performance, and process documents with AI Builder, among other AI-driven tasks. This course equips participants with the skills to identify opportunities, perform feasibility scans, and apply security process and enhancement tool knowledge across the Power Platform, preparing them for a role as a Microsoft Power Platform Functional Consultant.
