About This Course
1. Apply organisational code of conduct, organisational policies and procedures relating to legal and ethical practices in the delivery of healthcare services to clients and patients
2. Perform work activities in reducing the transmission of infection to patients and protecting healthcare workers from healthcare associated infection
3. Perform necessary procedures related to patient registration and prepare clinic facilities/services for clinical operational services in accordance to organisational procedures and guidelines
4. Assist in mobilisation, ambulation, positioning and transfer of patients of stable patients in accordance to the organisational and workplace safety and health procedures.
5. Support healthcare professional in performing clinical tests and procedures
What You'll Learn
Entry Requirements
• Obtained at least a C6 pass at GCE O-Level and N-Level in any 1 subject or equivalent, OR
• Workplace Literacy & Numeracy (WPLN) Level 4 (Speaking, Listening, Reading & Numeracy) and Level 3 (Writing)
• Certified medically fit for healthcare training and work by approved clinics
• Must clear HMI Institute’s admissions screening process for the course
