About This Course

The intent of the module is to equip learners with the necessary knowledge and technical skills competency to support the roles as healthcare providers in providing respiratory care for patients. The goal is to ensure that they can provide safe and person-centred care to patients/clients in the healthcare services. Additionally, the course includes upskilling competences to improve current job performances and to align to career progression. This also prepared the learners for the current needs of the healthcare industry.

What You'll Learn

The increase healthcare workers’ knowledge can be reinforced with the latest standard of practice according to Ministry of Health’s guidelines on Respiratory care. In addition, the training provides learner the opportunity to use previous experiences and relate them to current situation to make educated decisions. This adaptability makes learner a better teammate and resource to their co-workers to stay calm in the face of change/critical situation. They are also required to achieve competency during training to ensure continuum standard of care.
