Group Therapy Planning and Implementation (Classroom & Asynchronous)
About This Course
Group therapy provides an environment or a setting for clients to earn some benefits that one-to-one therapy cannot offer. Being in a group with others creates opportunities for to help their clients give or gain social support and acceptance. It also provides a platform for communication and self-expression. Working with others in a group also fosters problem-solving relationships with others that individual performance will not support. The knowledge and skill acquired from this module will enable the learners to assist the therapist in planning and providing group therapy interventions.
