About This Course
To equip learners with the basic effective communication skills and strategies in providing and receiving information clearly within the healthcare setting, and also enhances the con-duct of interpersonal communication in person-centred approach manner.

Learning Unit 2: Person-centredness communication in relationship, cultural and confidentiality
Learning unit 3: Communication skills and strategies for effective escalation and proper documentation
Entry Requirements
• Obtained at least a C6 pass at GCE O-Level and N-Level in any 1 subject or equivalent, OR
• Workplace Literacy & Numeracy (WPLN) Level 4 (Speaking, Listening, Reading & Numeracy) and Level 3 (Writing)
• Certified medically fit for healthcare training and work by approved clinics
• Must clear HMI Institute’s admissions screening process for the course
Applicants will be assessed by the Institute on their suitability for the course prior to enrolment. Academic qualifications are but one of several assessment criteria.
