About This Course
At the end of the course, participants should be able to:
• Know how to work with the board and ESG working group.
• Know how to conduct materiality assessment, identify the target audiences/stakeholders, how to engage stakeholders, and write the ESG report.
• Know how to disclosure under Task Force on Climate-Related Financial
• Know how to disclosure under Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) framework.
• Know about alternative ESG frameworks which could be used in some organizations
What You'll Learn
This course will equip the participants with relevant skillsets to perform Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) disclosure and reporting. Participants will have an overview of preparing for ESG reporting and disclosure. Participants will learn to perform ESG reporting using the Global Initiative Reporting (GRI) Framework. We will also be analysing a live MNC's ESG report in the GRI framework.
Participants will also learn how to disclosure and report for Task Force On Climate-Related Financial Disclosure (TCFD) which is mandatory by SGX from 2022. We will also be analysing a live MNC's TCFD report
Global Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) indicator and Sustainability Accounting Standards Board (SASB) frameworks will be discussed as alternative frameworks to supplement participant knowledge if they wish to perform these frameworks in their reporting.
