About This Course
Objectives include enabling the participants to reinforce and strengthen their anatomical knowledge, recognize the key steps and crticial moments in harvest of flaps, improve general surgical technique and skill in flap raising/fracture reduction/fixation and to understand the indications and implications of performing a particular procedure.
What You'll Learn
This cadaveric workshop will allow participants to practice and enhance their skills in a safe and guided environment. This workshop offers an excellent opportunity for plastic surgery residents and trainees to expand their knowledge and skills in plastic surgery & other surgical specialties. Surgical dissection using fresh frozen cadavers allows teaching of human anatomy and intensive practical training in a wide variety of surgical techniques including raising of workhorse flaps and simulation of facial and rib fracture fixation; among other surgical skills
