About This Course
This module is part of the Post-Diploma Certificate (PDC) in Supply Chain Operations (Specialist Diploma in Supply Chain Management).
What You'll Learn
This module aims to equip students with fundamental knowledge of the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) System and how it supports the organisations to run operations more efficiently and effectively. In this module, students will examine the typical business processes in an ERP system such as Material Management (MM), Sales and Distribution (SD), and Production Planning (PP).
By the end of the module, participants should be able to:
• Examine the role of ERP system and execute the major steps of Order-to-Cash process in the Sales and Distribution (SD) module of SAP ERP system.
• Execute the major steps of two types of purchasing processes in the Material Management (MM) module of SAP ERP system.
• Execute the major steps of material planning and manufacturing execution process in the Production Planning (PP) module of SAP ERP system.
By the end of the module, participants should be able to:

Entry Requirements
Applicants should possess a local Diploma, ITE Technical Diploma / Technical Engineer Diploma / Work-Study Technical Diploma, or Degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Business, or Science from recognised institutions.
Applicants who do not meet the entry requirements may be considered for admission to the course based on evidence of at least five years of relevant working experience or supporting evidence of competency readiness. Suitable applicants who are shortlisted will have to go through an interview and/or entrance test. The Polytechnic reserves the right to shortlist and admit applicants.
