This subject explores two main thematic areas of human information processing, namely, perception and cognition.
Graduates can pursue job roles that are in constant demand. These roles include Social Work Associate, Youth Work Associate, Programme Coordinator/ Programme Executive, Volunteer Executive, Care Staff, Beginning Early Intervention Teacher, and Teacher Aide that are integral components of the Psychology landscape/Special Needs Education/ Social Services sector.
Graduates of the course can also take on adjacent roles in the SPED and social service sector such as Social Work Associate, Youth Work Associate, Programme Coordinator/ Programme Executive, Volunteer Executive, Care Staff, Beginning Early Intervention Teacher, and Teacher Aide. The course will also facilitate further upgrading to undergraduate courses/specialist certifications in SPED and social work.
