Building Climate Resilience
About This Course
This module immerses learners in the world of climate-resilient design and management. Green Buildings Design and Technology are unveiled, showcasing approaches to crafting structures that minimize resource consumption and withstand environmental challenges. Green Building technologies are explored, revealing methods for optimizing existing building performance and reducing their environmental footprint. Energy management and audit practices reveal ways to optimize energy usage in the building through structured policies, processes and action plans to implement energy saving oppourtunities. Finally, Green Facilities Management is implemented, weaving sustainable practices into building operations and maintenance, ensuring occupants' well-being while minimizing environmental impact.
