About This Course
Learners will be awarded the Diploma in Engineering (Public Transport Operations) upon successful completion of five of the following Modular Certificates:
- Modular Certificate in Mechanical and Electrical Fundamentals
- Modular Certificate in Modelling and Circuit Analysis
- Modular Certificate in Transport Ops Safety and Security Management
- Modular Certificate in Station Operations and Management
- Modular Certificate in Service Management
Total training hours: 900
What You'll Learn
Entry Requirements
- GCE 'O' level with minimum of 3 relevant passes and at least 1 year of relevant working experience; or
- Nitec with GPA ≥ 3.5; or
- Nitec GPA ≥ 3.0 and at least 1 year of relevant working experience; or
- Higher Nitec with GPA ≥ 2.0, or
- Higher Nitec GPA ≥ 1.5 and at least with 1 year of relevant work experience; or
- Relevant WSQ Advanced Certificate (or higher), and at least 1 year of relevant working experience and Workplace Literary & Numeracy (WPLN) at Level ≥ 6; or
- At least 2 years relevant working experience (subject to interview/assessment).
Applicants who do not meet the entry requirements may be considered for admission to the course based on supporting evidence of competency readiness.
Suitable applicants who are shortlisted may have to go through an interview and/or entrance test(s).
