Classroom and Behaviour Management [CLBM] 课堂管理与行为辅导 (Synchronous e-Learning)
About This Course
On completion of this module, students should be able to:
1. Identify challenging behaviours vis-à-vis the typical negative behaviours of childhood.
2. Discern the moments when intervention becomes necessary and be able to justify the reasons for specific support plans.
3. Devise preventive measures to halt factors that are triggering or maintaining challenging behaviours.
4. Avoid narrow constructs that may cause a setback in the child’s inclusion or the effective resolution of the challenging behaviour.
5. (Knowing when and how to) apply general principles or more precise strategies to manage and/or address the troubling behaviour.
6. Harmonise intervention with developmentally appropriate practice (DAP) in early childhood.
7. Create an ethos of alliance with parents and families to maximise the success of intervention plans.
