- Identify and apply the relevant legal principles and legal precedents that apply to a particular case
What You'll Learn
This module will explore the core legal principles and precedents in clinical practice. No experience in law or bioethics is needed. Related ethical issues that arise when reviewing cases will also be discussed. The topics covered include medical negligence, medical errors, patient confidentiality and disclosure, vulnerable adults and children at risk, innovative treatments and telemedicine.
Entry Requirements
Applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree and may be required to show relevant work experience Applicants with other qualifications and experience may be considered on a case by case basis, subject to approval by the Centre for Biomedical Ethics
