About This Course
This course provides participants with a good understanding of key carbon market and pricing developments in Singapore and globally, its impact on different sectors, and how they fit into an organisation’s goals. It explores the global landscape and looks at government and corporate commitments to key carbon-related goals. Participants will gain knowledge about types of carbon markets, carbon pricing mechanisms, carbon credits and carbon offsetting projects. They will further understand the role of stakeholders in the Carbon Credit Lifecycle and Carbon Credit Standards and Certification Standard, current trends and issues of Carbon Credit so as to better align organisational goals and commitments

Entry Requirements
• English proficiency level equivalent to Grade C6 of GCE ‘O’ Level English or Employability Skills Workforce Skills Qualifications (ES WSQ) Workplace Literacy (WPL) Level 5.
• Basic Information and Communications Technology (ICT) skills.
• Prior exposure to GHG assessment, carbon market
