What You'll Learn
Many companies have mistakenly viewed sustainability reporting as the ultimate achievement. This perspective may stem from the rapid evolution of the sustainability reporting landscape, with regulators worldwide increasingly adopting it as a standard for both listed and non-listed large corporations.
However, sustainability reporting should be seen as a means to an end rather than the end goal itself. The true objective is to become more sustainable in all facets – environmentally, socially, and in compliance with regulations. As the saying goes, "what gets measured, gets managed." To effectively manage Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) related risks, one must first understand how to systematically identify, mitigate, and continuously monitor these risks. It's not just about managing risks; we're also keen on identifying emerging opportunities in this era of heightened climate awareness.
This course represents an important initial step in understanding how a robust risk management framework can help companies not only identify and manage ESG-related risks but also uncover opportunities that lie ahead in this ever-changing landscape.
