About This Course

This two-day workshop aims to equip students with the essential tools to navigate the complexities of public policy analysis through the use of the case study approach. As a well-established social science research method, case study offers unique insights into the analysis of public policies within their contextual frameworks. This course will elucidate the fundamental concepts and approaches of case study methodology in policy analysis. Additionally, it will provide students with practical skills to apply the case study method in conducting public policy analysis.

What You'll Learn

Upon completing this course, students will have a deep understanding of the comparative advantages of case study over other social sciences methods such as surveys and experiments, and will adeptly apply it to interpret, analyze, and assess real-life examples of public policies.
