About This Course
At the end of the course, participants should be able to:
(i) demonstrate awareness and understanding of intellectual property and advertising laws that are applicable to the fashion industry;
(ii) be familiar with and apply those laws apply in different contexts; and
(iii) develop an awareness and understanding of fashion’s intersection with cultural and social issues.
What You'll Learn
This course provides an overview of how intellectual property laws (e.g. copyright, trademarks and right of publicity) regulate the world of fashion. It will also explore the enforcement of intellectual property laws in the fashion industry from an interdisciplinary perspective drawing on writings in cultural studies and fashion theory.
Entry Requirements
A good Bachelor's or Juris Doctor degree in Law
