About This Course
By the end of the course, participants will be able to:
(i) understand the fundamental principles of company law, including corporate personality, limited liability, and the structure of corporate organs;
(ii) analyze corporate governance structures and evaluate the roles and responsibilities of corporate organs, including corporate constitution, meetings, and contracting capacity;
(iii) be familiar with key aspects of corporate finance and shareholders' rights and remedies, with a specific focus on the regulatory provisions of Singapore's Companies Act (Cap 50).; and
(iv) compare corporate law in Singapore and China, assessing similarities and differences in governance, regulatory frameworks, and policy implications.

A good Bachelor's or Juris Doctor degree in Law
