Merchandise Performance Analysis (SF - Manager) [Synchronous E-Learning]
About This Course
As business lists more and more products unto the web and on various online platforms, it has become important to implement product mix assessment checks against various factors such as merchandise budgets and sales targets, opportunities to improve sales for product range and/or product categories for both online and offline.
In this module, participants will develop processes to analyse profit performance of merchandise, evaluate trends of profitability and identify opportunities to adjust range of merchandise for their online and offline business and to create an O2O product strategy.

- Recognise trends on products and merchandise consumption
- Understand mark ups, margins and retail price computations and methods to calculate sales contributions
- Understand sales tracking systems and technologies

- Calculate or estimate overall contributions according to store merchandising plans and category marketing plans
- Utilise framework for merchandise performance analysis
- Manage product range assessment checks against budgets and targets
- Evaluate opportunities to adjust merchandise ranges to improve sales
- Evaluate supplier selection criteria
Entry Requirements
GCE 'O' level Credit (at least C6) in English and Mathematics or Workplace Literacy and Numeracy (WPLN) score: Level 6 for Reading, Listening and Numeracy; and
With at least 3 years supervisory/managerial working experience in retail or Professional/Managerial/Management Executive (PME) position in non-retail sector
For E-Learning classes at SIRS, participants MUST have the following:
