Cybersecurity: Combating the Latest Cyber Threats, Scams and Other Risks
About This Course
This course will empower non-IT professionals, managers and executives (PMEs) with the essential cybersecurity knowledge and skills needed to navigate today's complex digital landscape and minimise and mitigate cyber risk to their organisations and themselves. Through a blend of theoretical concepts and practical exercises, this course will equip learners with the tools and confidence to become active contributors to their organisation's cybersecurity efforts.
What You'll Learn
• LO1. Correlate modern cybersecurity threats, risks and vulnerabilities with their areas of work to enhance preventive and mitigative efforts
• LO2. Comply with confidentiality and information integrity policies and procedures
• LO3. Determine situations when additional cybersecurity resources are needed to mitigate identified risks
• LO4. Formulate policies and procedures to guide escalation of cybersecurity related issues to IT department and senior management
Entry Requirements
Entry Requirements
- 3 years working experience in any sector;
- Workplace Literacy and Numeracy (WPLN) 5 or equivalent; OR
- At least 2 GCE N Level pass
- Proficient with the use of an Apple/Windows laptop and a smartphone.
Note - Learners without the right WPLN or equivalent qualifications can be accepted if they have at least 4 years of working experience in supervisory and/or management roles in an office setting, subject to the RTP’s approval.
