About This Course
The Diploma course equips participants with the knowledge and skills for roles in private and auxiliary police, aligned with Skills Framework (SFw) in Security Industry. The course has been revised to increase online synchronous learning and reduce math theoretical content to better align with evolving job requirements.

It equips Auxiliary Police Officer Supervisor / Team Leader or participants with equivalent roles with the knowledge and skills required to undertake new roles that include below targeted job roles from SFw in Security industries.

What You'll Learn
• Apply Singapore’s legal framework, criminal law, and checkpoint legislation, recognise threats and security methods for border control, explain the use of profiling and questioning techniques in enhancing border security.
• Understand core psychology and counselling concepts, demonstrate counselling skills, conduct security audits, apply risk management strategies, and explain global data protection frameworks.
• Understand Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning, blockchain, encryption, and cybersecurity fundamentals, demonstrate skills in conduct IoT vulnerability tests, and apply key information security principles and practices.
• Apply conflict management, performance management, innovation strategies, and emotional intelligence concepts to enhance team dynamics, evaluate performance, and drive organisational improvements.
• Utilise probability, statistical methods, and data analysis techniques to address challenges related to crime patterns, incident reporting, and resource allocation, leveraging statistical software for data-driven decision-making in security operations
Entry Requirements
GCE ‘O’ Levels:
3 relevant passes and 1-year relevant working experience:
Subjects/Min. Grade:
1. English Language: Grade 6
2. Mathematics (Elementary or Additional): Grade 6
3. Any other subject excluding CCA: Grade 6
FT Nitec:
GPA > 3.5 OR GPA > 3.0 and 1 year of relevant working experience
PT Nitec in Technology/Services: GPA > 3.5 and 1 year of relevant working experience
FT Higher Nitec: GPA > 2.0 OR GPA > 1.5 and 1 year of relevant working experience
PT Higher Nitec in Technology/Services: GPA > 2.0 and 1 year of relevant working experience
WSQ Diploma: Relevant WSQ Advanced Certificate (or higher) with 1 year of relevant working experience and Level 6 for both WSQ Workplace Literacy SOA & Workplace Numeracy SOA.
Without any of the relevant academic qualifications: At least 2 years of relevant working experience.
Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL): Applicants who do not meet the entry requirements may be considered for admission to the course
