Communications and Engagement in Sustainability
About This Course
Students will learn to look at the societal context to examine the social or environmental impact that a brand can potentially have before embarking on planning and designing a sustainability communications strategy. In addition, students will learn to define the audiences they want to target and the content ideas available to develop their sustainability messaging. Students will also learn to plan and develop public relations and marketing communications campaigns to avoid greenwashing and amplify their messages appropriately.

Entry Requirements
'O' Levels
• At least three (3) ‘O’ Level passes in the following subjects:
English Language (EL1 or EL2) Grade 1 – 7
Mathematics Grade 1 – 6
One (1) relevant subject Grade 1 – 6
• and at least one (1) year relevant work experience
Higher Nitec
• GPA ≥ 2.0
OR
• GPA ≥ 1.5 AND at least one (1) year relevant work experience
Nitec
• GPA ≥ 3.5
OR
• GPA ≥ 3.0 AND at least one (1) year relevant work experience
Higher Nitec in Technology/ Services
• GPA ≥ 2.0 AND at least one (1) year relevant work experience
Nitec in Technology/ Services
• GPA ≥ 3.5 AND at least one (1) year relevant work experience
Workforce Skills Qualifications (WSQ)
• Relevant WSQ Advanced Certificate (or higher) AND at least one (1) year relevant work experience AND Level 6 WSQ Workplace Literacy SOA and Workplace Numeracy SOA
