About This Course

This course allows seafarers to comply with Regulation V/3 of the Standards of Training, Certification & Watchkeeping for Seafarers (STCW) Convention, "Mandatory minimum requirements for the training and qualifications of masters, ratings and other personnel on ships subject to the International Code of Safety for Ship Using Gases or Other Low-flashpoint Fuels (IGF Code)".

What You'll Learn

At the end of the course, learners will be able to:
•Contribute to the safe operation of a ship subject to the International Code of Safety for Ship Using Gases or Other Low-flashpoint Fuels (IGF Code)
•Take precautions to prevent hazards on the ship subject to the IGF Code
•Apply occupational health and safety precautions and measures
•Respond to the emergencies
•Take precautions to prevent pollution of the environment from the release of the fuels found on ships subject to the IGF Code

1. Basic Fire Fighting Course
2. Elementary First Aid
Or any equivalent certificate
