About This Course
This course offers learners a comprehensive look at the intricate relationships between climate, environmental change, and health. Learners will gain valuable insights into policy-focused approaches for addressing climate-related health challenges, including adaptation and mitigation strategies.
What You'll Learn
The specific reasons for including this course in the MSc programme are as follows:
1. Climate-driven relevance: This course is essential in preparing learners to anticipate and develop solutions to cope with the escalating health challenges posed by climate change.
2. Well-rounded net zero healthcare leadership: This course is essential to developing future leaders who are not only well-versed in net zero healthcare practice and analytics as they apply to the processes and procedures of healthcare delivery, but also to the broader policy, research, and public health ecosystem.
3. Filling a gap in National University of Singapore's (NUS) graduate-level course offerings: While other faculties address climate change from legal, engineering, biological scientific, and urban design perspectives, this course closely examines climate change as it relates to environmental and population health outcomes. This focus is absent in the current list of offerings, making this course a valuable addition to the NUS catalogue.
